New Feature in Google Pay: UPI Transaction Now Easy

Customers who transact with Google Pay can now easily send money to someone without a PIN.
App transactions are on the rise in India. Customers used to pay using QR code or mobile number through apps like Google Pay, Paytm, Phone Pay. UPI Lite has introduced an additional feature. UPI on Thursday launched LITE to facilitate small digital transactions. UPI Lite allows users to spend Rs. 4,000 can be deposited. Rs. 200 can be sent without pin.

UPI money transfer made easy

With the introduction of the new Lite feature in Google Pay, there is no need to enter any pin number to make payments on the service. The mission of UPI Lite is to facilitate digital payments. With UPI Lite, you can make instant payments up to Rs. Customers will get the facility to deposit up to 4,000. But maximum one time payment is 200 rupees. Currently, 15 banks support the UPI Lite facility.
UPI Lite Activation Method

- First go to Google Pay site.
- Click on the profile icon at the top right corner of the mobile screen.
- Scroll down and find 'UPI Lite' feature and click on it.
- Next a new screen will open with instructions and details about UPI Lite.
- Now click on Activate UPI Lite.
- Link your bank account and follow the on-screen instructions.
- Once the process is complete, you will receive a confirmation message.
